This is a 10* TOTAL BOOKIEKILLER on the UNDER Warriors/Pelicans.
I had a play on the Magic last night, who wound up beating the Warriors outright.
Golden State has opened the season with a 3-6 record. It's 0-5 on the road. If it has any hopes of winning here today in the second game of the back-to-back, the last thing it can do is to get into a shootout with the Pels and expect to hang.
The Warriors were in the top 10 on the defensive end last year, but so far the team has struggled to contain anyone this season.
For me this is a great situational play. I base my picks on many different things, but I expect Steve Kerr to have his team double down on the defensive end this evening after last night's second half collapse.
The Pels are 4-3, but they're off a tiring 120-117 OT loss at the Lakers on Wednesday which concluded a tough three-game road trip in which they went 1-2.
But New Orleans is back on the road again tomorrow for three more on the East coast, starting in Atlanta.
I expect a much more methodical pace to this contest than what the oddsmakers are trying to lead us to believe.
This number is high, the play is the UNDER.
Good luck, NP
