I had a play on LA in its most recent 120-117 OT win over the Pelicans. LA is now 2-5 and it's starting to shoot better from the floor.

Russell Westbrook is quickly adapting to his new sixth man role. The Lakers are off back-to-back victories, and just as I felt in their last game, I still don't think they're getting nearly enough respect from the oddsmakers in this spot.

Utah is 6-3, but it's off a tight 103-100 loss at Dallas. It covered the spread in that one, but I think the Jazz will have their hands full here vs. this hungry Lakers team that's out to erase the stench to the poor start to the season.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis have started to figure things out, and I expect them to continue to build momentum and to take care of business on their own floor tonight.
