This is a 10* ATS BLOOD-BATH on Rider.
I'm not predicting an outright win, but I expect Rider to comfortably sneak in through the back door down the stretch.
Providence went 27-6 last year and won its first-ever Big East regular-season crown, but Ed Cooley's team has eight new players on it this time around. Jared Bynum will lead the charge this season. He averaged 15.6 PPG last year.
The Broncs return four srarters and 74 percent of their scoring from last season. That experience will go a long way this year, and here especially on the road on Opening night. Dwight Murray Jr. averaged 13.1 PPG last year.
I say the growing pains for the Friars will be real. No outright, but closer than expected.
