This is a 10* NON-CONF TOW on the UNDER Oilers/Lightning.
Two good teams going head to-head-here, but I'm expecting a much more defensive battle than what this O/U line is suggesting.
The Oilers are off a 5-4 loss at Washington just last night and I believe fatigue will be a major factor here in the second game of the back-to-back.
Edmonton averages 3.85 GPG, which ranks 3rd, while allowing 3.62, ranked 24th.
Tampa is off a 5-3 win over Buffalo on Saturday. The Bolts average 3.33 GPG, while allowing 3.08.
The Oilers will be desperate to now snap a three-game slide, while Tampa has finally turned the corner with its play, it comes in having won seven of its last ten.
Regardless, the last thing Edmonton can do here is to not double down on the defensive end in the second game of the back-to-back. That's exactly what I expect the Oilers to do.
Look for this slower-paced game to produce a lower total.
