This is a 10* TOP TOTAL on the OVER Mavericks/Wizards.

Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but I expect those trends to finally end here tonight in the Nation's capital.

Dallas is coming off a low-scoring 94-87 loss at Dallas just last night. The Mavs had won four straight previous to that. They're averaging 110.4 PPG, and I expect them to bounce back here against this middle of the road Washington defense.

The Wizards have had a couple nights off since a 108-100 win at Charlotte. They only average 107 PPG. But this is the start of a seven-game home stand, and I expect this rested team to get out and push the pace today.

It sets up great from a situational stand point in my opinion to be a higher-scoring game. Also note that Dallas has seen the total go OVER the number in five of its last six after a SU/ATS road loss in which it was held to 90 or fewer points in.

The numbers/trends and the overall situation all point to this one flying OVER the posted numer sooner, rather than later.
