Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but I expect those trends to end this evening.

I base my picks on many different things. I feel that being flexible with your approach is the best way to secure profits over the long-term when it comes to wagering on sports.

Sometimes I feel that a no-nonsense approach is the best way.

Atlanta is now 8-4 this year after beating the 76ers by a score of 104-95 on Thursday. That came at home. The Hawks are averaging 115.7 PPG, which ranks ninth.

The 76ers are now desperate at 5-7. They've also seen the total go OVER the number in eight of their last 11 in trying to avenge a SU/ATS loss against an opponent in which it was held to 99 or fewer points in.

Red hot Utah is coming to town tomorrow for the 76ers, so it's now or never.

From a situational stand-point, I say this one sets up really well for much more of an offensive affair than what we saw in Atlanta two nights ago.

This number is low, the play is the OVER.
