Result: Win
This is an 8* ATS DESTROYER on the Miami Heat.
If you've followed me for any length of time, you've heard me say that I base my selections on many different things, and that I feel that being flexible with your approach when it comes to wagering on sports is the best way to secure profits over the long-term.
Here's a "common sense" play. Yes, Miami has been terrible so far for bettors, but I think it's finally undervalued here after so many terrible performances.
Miami is just 5-7 SU, and only 2-8 ATS. It's coming off a 117-112 OT win here at home over Charlotte on Thursday, unable to cover the 10.5-point spread, but I expect a much more lop-sided outcome here on Saturday.
The Hornets are still without Ball. They got a great effort from Rozier last time out, and i still wasn't enough.
Jimmy Butler had 35 points in the victory for the Heat.
Miami played uncharacteristically poor defense vs. the undermanned Hornets last time out. I expect a much better defensive performance as well from the home side.
The value has now FINALLY swung in favor of the HEAT here today, so lay the points with confidence.
Good luck, NP
