Here's a great situational play.

Florida is 9-7-1-1, while Columbus is 6-10-1-0.

It's safe to say that neither team can be super happy with where they are at this point of the season.

That said, after a very poor start, the Blue Jackets have looked a bit better over the last few weeks.

Florida is just 4-5 on the road, while Columbus is only 5-6 at home.

The Panthers come in determined to stop a two-game slide though. Both high-scoring losses, falling 6-4 at home to Dllas and then 5-4 to Calgary in a shootout. Note though that Florida has seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of its last 11 after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row (which it now has.)

Columbus is off a 6-1 defeat here at home to Detroit, which is significant for us to take note of as well, as the Blue Jackets hae seen the total go UNDER the number in five of their last six after a home loss of five or more goals.

Look for each team to double down defensively today as they each try to get back into the winner's circle.
