There's no question that totals in the NBA have been creeping higher and higher over the last few weeks, and we come out of the Thanksgiving break with three games with totals above 237.

That includes this one. However, I think the Turkey that all these guys ate yesterday is going to have an effect on their game-play tonight, and because of that I'm going to suggest a play on the UNDER.

The Jazz are 12-8. They're coming off a 125-116 home loss to Detroit. Note thought that Utah has seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of its last 11 off a SU/ATS home loss in which it was a ten-points or greater favorite in.

Utah has now seen the total go OVER the number in back-to-back losses, so expect the visiting side to double down defensively finally.

And for the Warriors, they're just 9-10 and fourth in the Pacific. The reason why Golden State won the championship last year was because of its improved defensive play. To this point, that's not been the case for the Warriors this season, as their offense has had to do most of the heavy lifting this year.

Golden State has been trading high-scoring games with lower-scoring defensive ones over its last seven outings, and off a 124-107 home win over the Clippers, with the total eclipsing the posted number, we can expect this strong O/U pattern to continue here.

I just see a bit more defense being played here, than what the oddsmakers are trying to lead us to believe.

This number is high, the play is the UNDER.
