Both teams have been playing to several higher-scoring games of late, but I expect those trends to end here this weekend.

LA is just 5-5, while Arizona is only 4-7. Each desperately needs a win here and I expect the intensity in which I believe they'll play with to help in driving today's total UNDER the posted number.

Arizona is just 1-4 at home. It's only averaging 21.8 PPG, which ranks 18th. It's coming off a 38-10 home loss to San Francisco.

The Cardinals have seen the total go OVER the number in five straight games, which is significant to note here as Arizona has seen the total go UNDER in seven of its last ten after playing to five or more straight OVERs in a row.

The Chargers are off the high-scoring 30-27 home loss to division rival Kansas City. Despite that high-scoring setback, the Chargers are still only averaging 22.7 PPG.

This is a "must win" game for each team. Expect a very tight, lower-scoring UNDER once it's all said and done.
