For a number of different reasons, I think this total will fly OVER the posted number before it's all said and done.
Washington is off a much-needed 3-2 win at Edmonton. It's seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of its last eight, but I think tonight's contest will be much more wide open.
The Flyers are also off a much-needed win, pulling away for the 5-3 victory here over Colorado on Monday. The Flyers play with revenge here after a 3-2 loss in the Nation's capital last month, and that's signficant for us to note here as Philly has seen the total go OVER the number in four of its last five in trying to avenge a road loss against an opponent.
Two teams in dire need of a win collide here. Expect a faster-paced, wide-open "SHOOT-OUT," the play is the OVER.
