This is a 10* EAST-COAST EXPRESS on the Hurricanes.
Both teams have been great, but I'm not going to step in the way of this out of control freight train of a team in Carolina right now.
The Canes have won 11 in a row after a 5-4 shootout win over the Devils last time out. This is the first matchup of the year with the Rangers, and I expect them to make an example out of them this evening, especially with two whole nights off after this, followed by a "cream puff" of a matchup at home vs. the Predators.
The Rangers are 7-3 in their last ten, snapping a two-game slide last time out with 5-3 victory at the Panthers. They have a tough two-game road trip and Montreal and New Jersey to look forward to after this.
Carolina is superior on both ends of the ice and while its amazing current run will come to an end at some point, I don't think it'll be here in this important game.
