Point Spread: 8.00 | -110.00 Saint Peter's (Away)
Result: Loss
Point Spread: 8.00 | -110.00 Saint Peter's (Away)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* MAAC GOY on Saint Peter's.
I'm not calling for an outright victory, but I do think that the stage is set for a really tight battle here.
Saint Peter's is 7-7, while Siena is 9-5. The Peacocks are now 2-3 in conference play, losing to Iona last time out. Overall though Saint Peter's has won three of its last five. It's had difficult non-conference games vs. Seton Hall and Maryland.
Overall so far Saint Peter's has averaged 63.6 PPG, while allowing 65.4. Isiah Dasher leads the nightly charge with 13.8 PPG.
Siena comes in complacent a tiny bit after four straight wins. It's hard to say too many negative things about the Saints though, as overall they've been great. I just think they get caught a little flat-footed here against a team desperate for a victory.
Siena's margin of error though is slim, as the Saints average 71.7 PPG, while allowing 69.6.
The Saints are the better team for sure, but this spread is just a few points too large in my opinion. I like the Peacocks to battle until the final moments.
Grab the points, the play is SAINT PETER'S.
Good luck, NP
