This is a 10* NON-CONF TOM on the OVER Lightning/Jets.

After having seen the total go UNDER the number in ten straight games, I think the Jets'll finally play to a more high-scoring affair here vs. the Lightning.

The last time these teams played against each other was last April, and Tampa wound up winning by a score of 7-4. I expect a similar final combined score here as well. This non-conference game won't feature a ton of defensive intensity in my estimation.

Instead I'm expecting a wide-open "SHOOTOUT."

The Lightning will be eager to return to form. They'd won four straight before a listless 5-1 setback at Minnesota in their most recent outing. This is the final stop in their three-game trip, and then they enjoy three whole nights off. Look for the Lightning to leave everything they have on the ice to try and steal this win in this difficult road venue.

I'm expecting a wide-open pace from the opening face-off, until the final horn.
