This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the UNDER Lakers/Nuggets.

Many different things "have to go right" for a contest to reach 240 points. I say there are enough things that "could go wrong" here between the Lakers and Nuggets that I don't see this total getting anywhere close to that mark.

The Lakers are playing their best basketball of the season after five straight victories. AD is down and out with injury still, but LA has managed to beat up on some suspect teams during this run.

Despite their recent scoring outburst, I say that LBJ and company have a much more difficult time moving the ball against the Nuggets. With Denver primarily running their offense through big man Nikola Jokic, look for the home to run a lot of "half court sets" while on offense. This invariably slows down the pace of the game as well.

Overall I think "perception" has driven this O/U line a few points higher that it normally would/should be.
