There's no question that the Devils have been the "surprise" team of the league, but with a game at Anaheim on Friday night, I believe the visiting side will be predictably fatigued. New Jersey then plays at lowly San Jose two nights later, so it's a look-ahead spot as well.
The Kings have won three straight. They're 14-7-2 at home. New Jersey on the other hand is just 11-10-1-1 on the road (depending on the Friday outcome.)
LA enjoys three whole nights off after this, so this sets up as a great spot to post a quality win.
