9 OUT OF 10 CONSENSUS on the Mets runline.
We like New York to bounce back here after yesterday's 4-0 series opening loss. The Mets have now dropped five of their last six, but they still remain in second in the NL East. Note though that NY is 7-2 in its last nine in trying to avenge a home loss vs. an opponent. Spencer Strider has been unreal for ATL early, entering with the 3-0 (1.80 ERA) record, but this blistering pace seems unsustainable and unrealistic to us. Regression is imminent. The home side counters with the battle-tested Tyler Megill, who is 3-1 with a 3.96 ERA. Clearly we feel an outright upset is possible, but at this price the value lies with home side on the RUNLINE option.
Good luck, TIR
