6 OUT OF 10 CONSENSUS on the Mariners.
Seattle needs to win, and get outside help to make the playoffs. But there's still hope as the Mariners will look to pull off another upset here after yesterday's 6-1 series-opening victory.
Houston needs just one more victory to clinch the division, but we feel that Seattle's momentum is a very real factor that the oddsmakers haven't properly quantified into this line at all.
Logan Gilbert is 8-11 with a 3.24 ERA overall for the Mariners and a sharp 5-3 with a 3.41 ERA in 11 career outings vs. Houston, including going 11 with a 2.57 ERA in two matchups this year.
Houston was without slugger Yordan Alvarez yesterday, and he's out again tonight as well, and clearly that's no good for Astros' backers tonight.
Framber Valdez is 14-7 with a 2.85 ERA for the home side. It's difficult to say anthing negative, but he's just in the "wrong place" at the "wrong time" tonight in our estimation, as we do indeed believe Seattle's recent surge continues with another solid victory.
The Insiders Room DISCORD community features a plethora of different handicappers from around the World. The core group of players that started this group are ten individual cappers. When at least six of these players align on a play, that's when they release it to the public.
Good luck, TIR
