Sunday's 10* BOOKIE BASHER
(MLB) Pittsburgh vs. St. Louis,
Money Line: -148.00 St. Louis (Home)
Result: Loss
The Pittsburgh Pirates have not had a good start to the season, dropping their first two games of the season. The offense has been anemic and the pitching has not been much better. The offense led by Jose Osuna, Colin Moran and, Josh Bell will have to step up at the plate for the Pirates to have any chance this season. Mitch Keller will try and get the Pirates their first win when he takes the mound. Last season, he went 1-5 with a 7.13 ERA and 65 strikeouts. Keller has not pitched against the Cardinals in his career.

With two of their rivals (Cubs and Brewers) battle it out, the St. Louis Cardinals have a chance to put some ground between one of them with a sweep of the Pirates. The offense has been a strength so far this season as they have put up fourteen runs in their first two games. They will go for the sweep with Dakota Hudson taking the mound. Last season he was 16-7 with a 3.35 ERA and 136 strikeouts. In his career against the Pirates, he is 2-0 with a 3.38 ERA and 10 strikeouts.

The Pirates offense has not shown much this season and I am not confident they will be able to get right against a good pitcher in Hudson. Keller was awful last season and will struggle against an offense that seems to be in mid-season form. I am willing to lay a little higher number when I feel I have the far superior team.

Play on The St. Louis Cardinals. This is a 10* play
