The New Orleans Pelicans were hoping to make a move toward the playoffs under the bubble but dropped their fir first game to the Utah Jazz. It doesn't get any easier tonight as the face an angry LA Clippers team. They dropped the game to the Jazz 106-104, after losing a 12 point halftime lead. The offense was led by Brandon Ingram, who tallied 23 points and eight rebounds. JJ Redick had 21 points and three assists off the bench while Jrue Holiday chipped in with 20 points and four assists. Zion looked good but played just 15 minutes.

The Los Angeles Clippers dropped their first game to their crosstown rivals the LA Lakers 103-101. The offense for the Clippers was led Paul George with 30 points including hitting 6 shots from deep. Kawhi Leonard added 28 points and Reggie Jackson chipped in with 10 points and four assists. It was a roller coaster game for the Clippers that trailed by as many as 13 and led by 11.

Zion Williamson looked good on the court but looks to be on a strict minutes restriction. Both teams need a win but the veteran leadership of George and Leonard will get the job done.
