This New York Yankees will be going for a sweep over the Boston Red Sox after winning the first two games 5-1 and 5-2. Boston's Zack Godley had a rough day, going just 3.1 innings with six hits, five earned, two walks, and a strikeout. Boston will send Austin Brice to the mound. This was a planned bullpen day for Boston so you never know how long Brice will go. This is Brice’s first Major League start but he has made 110 appearances. In four games so far this year, he has a 7.71 ERA with five strikeouts in 4.2 innings. The Yankees will send James Paxton to the mound. Paxton’s first start this year did not go as planned. He pitched just one inning giving up three runs on five hits.

The Yankees bats have been booming and with this being a bullpen day, they will have a chance to push across some runs. Paxton was not sharp in game 1 but can be unhittable if on. I look for the Yankees to stay hot and get another easy win.
