The Houston Astros have struggled as of late having lost four of their last six games. The Astros offense has been doing their job, as they battled back to take the lead in the ninth but their pen couldn't hold the lead and they lost in 10 innings. Josh James will take the mound for the Astros. He is 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA and five strikeouts this season. In his career against the Angels, he is 0-0 with a 2.57 ERA and 21 strikeouts in his career against the Angels.

The Los Angeles Angels are coming off a much-needed win yesterday. they showed resilience after losing the lead in the ninth but came back to tie it and win in 10. Shohei Ohtani will make his second start for the Angels. He was terrible in his first start and is 0-1 with an INF ERA and zero strikeouts this season. In his career against the Astros, he is 0-1 with a 7.04 ERA and nine strikeouts in his career against the Astros.

Ohtani allowed three hits and five runs against the Oakland Athletics without recording an out. Until he shows me he is back, I can't even sniff in Ohtani's direction. James should be able to keep the Angels bats in check enough for the Astro's bats to come through.
