The White Sox will be going for a sweep of the Royals today. They won game one 2-3 but had an easier time in the second game with an 11-5 win. The Chicago was hyped coming into the season and it showed up yesterday. Chicago will send out Dylan Cease to face the Royals. In his first start this season, he gave up four runs in 2.1 innings with two home runs allowed. He looked good in summer camp and the Sox have high hopes he can turn it around. The Royals will send Jakob Junis to the mound. He had coronavirus early in camp. Last season he was 9-14 with a 5.24 ERA and 164 strikeouts. This will be his first start of the season.

Junis will be starting his first game of the season and Cease was not good in his. That being said, with two possible sub-par pitchers I will take the White Sox bats over the Royals.
