The New York Rangers dropped game one to Carolina 3-2. Carolina scored in the first minute of the game and remained in control throughout the game. The Hurricanes goaltender, Petr Mrazek got his first win of the postseason, stopping 24 of 26 shots. The Rangers Henrik Lundqvist took the loss. He got the start after Igor Shesterkin was deemed unfit to play. Lundqvist allowed three goals on 37 shots.

I look for the Rangers to come out strong in this one and don't expect them to play so sloppily early in the game. Until game one the Rangers were 4-0 this season against Carolina this season and have dominated them in the past. I like the Rangers at + money to even the series.
