The Pittsburgh Penguins dropped game one of the series in overtime against the Montreal Canadians. They bounced back and took game 2. Despite their Superstars, the offense is led by Jake Guentzel with three points. Between the pipes, the Penguins will go with Matt Murray. In this series, he is 1-1 record with a 1.79 GAA. During the regular season against Montreal, he was 1-0 record with a 1.94 GAA.

The Montreal Canadiens could be fighting for their playoff lives if they didn't find a way to pull off an upset in game 1. They did not play well during the regular season and would not have even sniffed the playoffs if not for the Covid virus. Another upset and they could find themselves one game from advancing to the next round. The offense was led by Tomas Tatar with 22 goals and 39 assists but during this series, he has not tallied a point. Carey Price starts between the piped for the Canadians. He has posted a 1-1 record with a 1.82 GAA.

Price has been standing on his head this series. He has faced a ton of shots so any let down will be costly. Pittsburgh is by far the better team in spite of their slip up in game one. Murray has been outstanding in the nets for Pittsburgh. If the goalies are a wash then take the better team.
