NBA BUBBLE BUSTER "POP" goes the BOOKS
(NBA) Houston vs. Oklahoma City,
Point Spread: -5.50 | -108.00 Houston (Away)
Result: Loss
The Houston Rockets took a 3-2 series lead after a 114-80 win in Game 5 and will look to close out the Thunder tonight. James Harden had 31 points and five assists in the win. Robert Covington chipped in 22 points while grabbing seven rebounds and dishing three assists. Eric Gordon added 20 points. It is hard to believe, but the defense was the key to the Rockets success. They held the Thunder to just 14 points in the first quarter and 35 points in the second half. Russell Westbrook saw action for the first time and ended with seven points and seven assists in just 24 minutes of action.

The Oklahoma City Thunder suffered a major letdown after winning two in a row to even the series. They will need to step it up if they want to stay in the series. Dennis Schroder led the Thunder with 19 points off the bench before being ejected. Chris Paul chipped in 16 points and Steven Adams added 12 points and he dished out 14 assists.

The Rockets are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a win of more than 10 points. The Thunder seemed to have the momentum after winning two in a row to even the series. After the short break for the boycott, the Thunder seemed to lose whatever momentum they had by getting blown out. Westbrook didn't look sharp in his return but he also didn't have to log long minutes. The Thunder should have a better shooting game but I still like the Rockets to win and cover.

Play on Houston.
