The Sox tried to make a comeback late, but it fell short 5-3. Dane Dunning will start for the Sox in this crucial game three. He is 2-0 this season with a 3.97 ERA.

The Oakland A’s stayed alive with a game 2 win yesterday. They took an early lead and had to withstand a White Sox come back to get to game three. Chris Bassitt got the win after giving up one run on six hits with five strikeouts over seven innings. The A's have a choice between right-hander Mike Fiers or left-hander Sean Manaea

The Sox will hope to get 3 innings from Dunning and then turn it over to their pen. The A's pen threw a lot of pitches yesterday with their closer Hendricks tossing over 40. You would think the go with Fiers as the Sox have not lost to a left-hander all season. I like the way the Sox battles back yesterday and they have a better offense and I think their pen is in a better position for this game.
