BIG 10 BEATDOWN
(NCAAF) Wisconsin vs. Iowa,
Point Spread: 2.50 | -104.00 Iowa (Home)
Result: Win
No. 16 Wisconsin looked good to start the season, opening the season with two wins over Illinois and Michigan In those two games the offense was clicking and it looked like they had found a quarterback Graham Mertz. They then had three games canceled due to Covid and the offense hasn't been the same since. They came back and lost the next two games with the offense putting up a total of 13 points in those two losses. Even worse news for the offense, Wide receiver Danny Davis missed last week’s game and Kendric Pryor went out in the second half, while. starting center Kayden Lyles also got hurt in the loss. Davis and Lyles are both listed as questionable, while Pryor is not on the injury report.

No. 19 Iowa has had an opposite type of season as compared to the Badgers. The Hawkeyes started the season with two close losses to Purdue and Northwestern, but they are now riding a five-game winning streak. Four of those games have been blowouts with a close 26-20 win over Nebraska being the only close game. It is once again their defense that is the driving force of the Hawkeyes. They have not allowed 25 points to an opponent in 21 straight games. They rank No. 14 in the country in points allowed and No. 16 in total yards.

This game is all about momentum and motivation. The Badgers have lost their last two games after not being able to play for weeks. They came into the season with hopes of making the Conference Championship games but those hopes were dashed by Covid. The Hawkeyes will be fully motivated to finish the year with a win against a rival that they have not had much success against. Wisconsin is banged up on offense, which was already struggling.

Play on Iowa.
