(NFL) Arizona vs. LA Rams,
Point Spread: -2.50 | -109.00 Arizona (Away)
Result: Loss
The Arizona Cardinals are on the road to take on the Los Angeles Rams with the winner getting into the postseason. Arizona is coming off a terrible 20-12 loss to San Francisco at home. Los Angeles lost to Seattle on the road 20-9m More importantly they last their starting quarterback to injury. The Rams have won the last seven meetings.

Arizona has lost four of their last six games and is 8-7 on the season. They need a win here to guarantee a playoff spot. The Cardinals are 15th in the league in passing offense at 250 yards a game and third in rushing offense at 145.9 yards a game. The Cardinals put up 26.9 points a game and they give up 23.3 points. The offense is led by Kyler Murray with 3,884 passing yards to go with 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He has also rushed for 816 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground. The Cardinals rushing attack is led by Kenyan Drake with 919 yards and 10 touchdowns and Chase Edmonds adds 451 yards and a touchdown. Deandre Hopkins has caught 111 passes for 1,374 yards and six touchdowns. Christian Kirk has 48 catches for 621 yards and six touchdowns. Murray is expected to play after suffering a leg injury against the 49ers late last week. Kirk was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Los Angeles is now in a must-win situation after losing to Seattle. They will have to win this game without some key personnel. Quarterback Jared Goff broke his thumb and had surgery this week. Cooper Kupp tested positive for COVID-19 and Darrell Henderson Jr. was placed on IR with an ankle injury. The Rams are tied for 12th in the league in passing offense with 252.7 yards a game and 10th in rushing offense at 127.2 yards. The Rams are putting up 23.6 points a game and they are giving up just 19.3 points. The offense has been led by Jared Goff with 3,952 passing yards to go with 20 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. The rushing attack is led by Darrell Henderson Jr. with 624 yards and five touchdowns. Malcolm Brown adds 399 yards and five touchdowns while Cam Akers Jr. has rushed for 591 yards and two touchdowns in his rookie season. John Wolford, who has played in the AAF and was a four-year starter at Wake Forest, makes his first NFL start here.

There is a lot at stake in this game for both teams. Arizona has the edge offensively as their best playmakers are healthy. Defensively, the Rams are the league’s top defense overall and they are #1 against the pass in addition to being #3 against the run. They are going with a quarterback with no experience in any game let alone a must-win game to make the playoffs. I think Murray will do enough to get the win.

Play on Arizona. This is a 8* play.
