The Oklahoma State Cowboys finished the season with an 18-7 overall record and they posted an 11-7 conference mark which was good enough for the fifth seed. The offense is led by Cade Cunningham with 19.7 points and 6.3 rebounds with 3.5 assists. He injured his ankle and sat out last game and his status is unknown for this game. Avery Anderson III adds 11.1 points and 4 rebounds.

The West Virginia Mountaineers are the #4 seed after posting an 11-6 record in conference play and they finished 18-8 overall. The offense is led by Miles McBride with 15.3 points and 4.7 assists. Derek Culver adds 14.8 points and 9.8 rebounds. As a team, the Mountaineers are putting up 77.6 points and they are shooting 42.8 percent from the field and 35.9 percent from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 72.1 points and their opponents are shooting 44.2 percent from the field and 32.4 percent from deep.

Cunningham is an awesome player and is still one of the better players when not 100 percent. Oklahoma State has no reason to play him in this game for long minutes if at all. They should keep their eye on their long-term goals. West Virginia will look to avenge their last loss to the Cowboys. Culver will be key to a W. Virginia win in this one.
