No. 9 Ohio State has not played well down the stretch. They had lost four straight games before beating Minnesota yesterday. The Buckeyes offense this season has been led by E.J. Liddell with 16 points and he grabs 6.5 rebounds a game. Duane Washingon adds 15.3 points a game. As a team, they are putting up 76.8 points a game and they are shooting 46 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 69.9 points a game and their opponents are shooting 42.8 percent from the field and 34.4 percent from deep.

Purdue comes into the Big 10 Tournament on a nice run, having won five in a row. The offense is led by Trevion Williams with 15.2 points and he grabs 8.8 rebounds a game. As a team, the Boilermakers are putting up 70.8 points a game and they are shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 33.5 percent from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 65.5 points and their opponents are shooting 41.2 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from deep.

Purdue has a long rest and should be prepared for this game. Ohio State struggled against Minnesota which may have helped them to get that bad game out of the way. Purdue has the size with Williams and Edey that can disrupt the Buckeyes offense and defense. Purdue has been the better team down the stretch while Ohio State has been better overall. I am taking the team that is playing better at the moment.

Play on Purdue.
