Tampa Bay opened the season with a 1-0 win over the Miami Marlins as a -157 Moneyline favorite. Austin Meadows' eighth-inning home run was the only run of the game. Tyler Glasnow hurled six innings of one-hit ball, with no walks and six strikeouts. This game should be another solid starting pitcher matchup. Lopez for the Marlins posted a 2.63 ERA in spring training with nine strikeouts over 13.2 innings in four games. Yarbrough came on in the playoffs last year and the Rays are looking for another good year from him this season. He generates a lot of soft contact which should benefit him in this game. The Rays have won 10 out of their last 11 head-to-head games against the Marlins. The Rays fairly well against Lopez last year. I am looking for the Rays to start the season with two wins.
