The Arizona Diamondbacks are coming off a 4-0 loss to Oakland in their last game and will counter Ohtani by sending Merrill Kelly to the mound. He has posted a 2-6 this season with a 5.12 ERA and 62 strikeouts. As with Ohtani, this will be Kelly’s first career start against the Angels.

Los Angeles is 5-1 in their last 6 games while Arizona is 16-37 in their last 53 games overall and 14-37 in their last 51 games as an underdog. The Angels are the better team with Ohtani on the mound and the Diamondbacks have been just plain bad.
