After taking two games from the NL West rivals the Giants, the Dodgers head East to take on the surging Washington Nationals. The Dodgers will look to build on the momentum from the Giant's wins by sending Tony Gonsolin to the mound. So far this season he has posted an 0-0 record with a 2.77 ERA and 18 strikeouts.

The Washington Nationals have their offense going as of late and it showed last time out as they took care of Tampa Bay 15-6. The Nats will look to ride their offensive output by sending Patrick Corbin to the mound. So far this season, he has posted a 5-6 record with a 5.33 ERA and 68 strikeouts, He has not dared well against LA, posting a 5-10 record with a 3.71 ERA and 106 strikeouts.

These teams have played three times already this season with the Dodgers taking all three. The Dodgers had a day off yesterday and this will be the 10th day in a row that the Nationals have played a game. Gonsolin has pitched well this season and will need to keep the hot Nats bats at bay. Corbin does not fare well against the Dodgers in his career. I like the Dodgers to score more than the Nats in this one.
