The Chicago Cubs will be playing the third game of a four-game set against the St. Louis Cardinals after splitting the first two. The Cus put up a six-spot in the top of the ninth yesterday to get a comeback win. The Cubs will look to build on that momentum by sending Kyle Hendricks to the mound. He has posted a 3.65 ERA this season with 84 strikeouts and 23 walks. The Cardinals let one get away from them yesterday and will look to turn it around with Adam Wainwright taking the mound. He has posted a 3.71 ERA this season with 106 strikeouts and 32 walks in 111.2 innings.

Games have gone under in Wainwright's last four starts against National League Central opponents and is 8-0-1 in his last nine home starts. Bryant left yesterday's game with an apparent injury which will hamper the Cubs lineup. Both pitchers can dominate their opponent and have done it at times in the past. A lot of energy was used by both teams in yesterday's game and I am looking for both teams to struggle scoring in this one.
