The San Francisco Giants needed a two-run homer in the top of the ninth to come away with a 6-5 win over the Oakland A's yesterday. All six of the Giant's runs came via the long ball. Kevin Gausman started and allowed two runs on six hits, striking out five in 3.2 innings. Logan Webb will take the mound for the Giants in this one. He is 7-3 on the season with a 2.92 ERA and 98 strikeouts. The Oakland A’s let one get away yesterday and will need to bounce back as they battle for an AL Wild Card Spot. Starter Sean Manaea allowed just two runs on four hits in 4.2 innings. The pen could not get the job done and blew a 5-2 lead. The A's will counter with Frankie Montas on the mound. This season, he has posted a 9-9 record with a 4.04 ERA and 152 strikeouts.

Logan Webb has been really good as of late and the Giants have the second-best ERA from a bullpen in MLB. Oakland will struggle to score and the Gian bats started to get going yesterday. I like the Giants and Webb at this price.
