It was the second game in a row that they blew a late lead. They wasted a fantastic outing from Frankie Montas who threw seven innings of two-hit shutout ball with nine strikeouts. The A's will turn to Paul Blackburn on the mound. He is 0-1 with a 5.06 ERA and 3 strikeouts this season.

The A's need a win here after dropping two games late to the Giants. They will not stay with Blackburn long if he is struggling. Both teams are struggling a bit at the plate and I expect this game to be lower scoring than the posted number.
