Result: Loss
The Cincinnati Reds head into their game against the Milwaukee Brewers off a 3-1 win over the Marlins on Sunday. Vladimir Gutierrez allowed just one run on three hits and struck out eight in seven innings. The Reds will continue to make their push for the NL Wild Card by sending Tyler Mahle to the mound. This season, he has posted a 10-4 record with a 3.78 ERA and 160 strikeouts this season.
The Milwaukee Brewers are also coming off a win as they took down the Washington Nationals 7-3. Adrian Houser allowed an unearned run on three hits in 3.1 innings. The Brewers will turn to Corbin Burnes for today's start. He has posted an 8-4 record with a 2.13 ERA and 175 strikeouts this season.
Burnes has a scoreless innings streak of 14 innings coming into this game and a 0.45 ERA over his last three starts. Mahle has pitched well on the road, posting a 7-1 record with a 1.86 ERA in 13 starts. I like the value on the Reds as Burnes is bound to have an off game at some point and the Reds have the offense to take advantage of it. Mahle should give them every opportunity to pull this one out.

Play on Cincinnati.
