THE PROFESSOR’S WEDNESDAY NIGHT MLB “BLOOD-BATH!”
(MLB) LA Dodgers vs. San Diego,
Money Line: -143.00 LA Dodgers (Away)
Result: Win
The Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres meet in the second game of a three-game set with the Dodgers taking game one. The Dodgers had won nine in a row before a loss on Sunday. They bounced back behind Julio Urias, who allowed just one hit in five innings. They will look to continue the momentum by sending Walker Buehler to the mound. This season he has posted a 2.11 ERA in 162.1 innings with 170 strikeouts and 41 walks. The Padres are in dire need of a win after dropping five of their last six and find themselves in a fight for an NLWild Card spot. The Padres will counter with Blake Snell on the mound. He has posted a 4.82 ERA in 106.1 innings with 139 strikeouts and 65 walks.

Snell has given up six earned in 22.0 innings over his last four starts, while Buehler hasn’t given up more than two earned runs in any of his last eight starts. The Padres have been slumping and it is hard for this Dodgers offense to slump with all of the weapons they have. Take the better pitcher and offense.

Play on LA Dodgers.
