The Cincinnati Bearcats and the Indiana Hoosiers clash in what could be a huge game for the Bearcats. Cincinnati is off to a 2-0 start and is coming off a blowout win over Murray State. They took care of Miami-OH 49-14 to open the season. In that game, Desmond Ridder threw for 295 yards and four touchdowns with an interception. Jerome Ford added 121 yards on the ground and scored a touchdown. Ridder followed that up with 243 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-7 win over Murray State. A game that was 7-7 at the half. Jerome Ford added another 113 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
The Hoosiers come into this game with a 1-1 record after getting blown out by Iowa in their opener and then blowing out Idaho. Indiana was down 31-2 to Iowa at the half and never recovered. Michael Penix threw for 156 yards with three interceptions. They bounced back against Idaho with a 56-14 win.
Cincinnati is 6-2 ATS in their last eight non-conference games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven on turf. The Hoosiers are 7-1 ATS in their last eight on turf and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 overall. Indiana is 13-3 ATS versus a team with a winning record. I like the Bearcats defense to be able to contain Penix and the Hoosier offense. Cincinnati has a well-balanced offense and Ridder can get it done through the air or on the ground.
Play on Cincinnati. This is a 10* play.
