He also leads the team in rushing with 290 yards and 4 touchdowns. The rushing attack also gets help from Markese Stepp with 128 ards and Gabe Ervin Jr. adds 107 yards and two touchdowns. The leading receiver is Samori Toure with 333 yards on 16 catches and two touchdowns.

The Michigan State Spartans went down to Miami and came away with a huge 38-17 win over the Hurricanes. That win pushed the Spartans record to 3-0 to start the season. out. The offense is led by Payton Thorne with 726 passing yards with 9 touchdowns. The rushing attack is led by Kenneth Walker III with 493 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns while Jordan Simmons has added 132 yards. The receiving corps is led by Jayden Reed with 12 catches for 277 yards and 3 scores and Jalen Nailor has 10 catches for 141 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Martinez's dual-threat ability is typically an advantage against the Spartans, but this isn't your same-old Spartans. They had a week to prepare and shut down D'erik King and should have a plan for Martinez. Michigan State's offense has become an elite offense with the addition of Walker III and Reed as transfers. Mel Tucker has this team playing really well in his second year and he has started turning this program around by bringing in 41 new players in the portal. Spartan Stadium will be rocking for the first time in a long time.
