THE PROF'S MLB “CLASS-IS-IN-SESSION!”
(MLB) Boston vs. Houston,
Money Line: 103.00 Boston (Away)
Result: Win
The Boston Red Sox takes on the Houston Astros in game two of the ALCS. The Boston Red Sox had a 3-1 lead late before the Astros battles back to take a 5-3 lead before Boston scored one in the top of the ninth but could do no further damage. Enrique Hernandez had four hits and two solo home runs in the loss. Boston will try and even the series by sending Nathan Eovaldi to the mound. He is 1-0 with a 2.61 ERA and 16 strikeouts this postseason.

The Houston Astros will look to take a 2-0 lead with a home at home today. Jose Altuve hit a two-run home run while Carlos Correa had three hits with a solo home run of his own. Luis Garcia will start here and is 0-0 with a 16.88 ERA and 3 strikeouts this postseason.

Eovaldi and Garcia were about the same numbers-wise in the regular season but Eovaldi has pitched better in the postseason. Garcia was hit hard in his playoff debut. The offenses are even so it comes down to pitching and I like Boston's starter better in this one.

Play on Boston.
