THE PROFESSOR’S MLB UPPER-DECK BLOWOUT
(MLB) Toronto vs. Kansas City,
Point Spread: -1.50 | -110.00 Toronto (Away)
Result: Win
The Kansas City Royals will do battle with the Toronto Blue Jays in a three-game set at home. Toronto has won nine of their last eleven. Kansas City has produced the worst record in baseball to this point of the season. They will look to continue their momentum by sending Ross Stripling to the mound. Stripling has worked both as a started and out of the pen this season and has posted a 4.22 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP. The Royals will counter with Daniel Lynch on the mound. He has posted a 4.81 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP.

I am not looking for a long outing out of Stripling as he has not gone more than 2.2 innings this season. The Jays have had their offense going over the last couple of weeks and are facing the worst team in baseball and a pitcher they should be able to hit. The Jays’ bullpen is rested enough to make up the innings they will not get from Stripling. Lynch struggles against right-handers and the Jays' lineup is loaded with right-handed hitters. I don't see the Royals scoring many runs so take the Jays on the run line for a better value, especially considering their pitching situation.

Play on Toronto minus 1.5 runs. This is a 7* play.
