The LA Kings will look to even their series with the Edmonton Oilers. The Edmonton Oilers are 5-2-0 against the Kings in the playoffs since 2022-23. The Kings dropped game 1 7-4. During the season, the Kings allowed just 2.56 goals per game. Cam Talbot should get the start again in net but will have to play a lot better. He allowed six goals on 44 shots. Edmonton forced the Kings to play fast-paced hockey and the Kings defense crumbled. Stuart Skinner will get the start in the net once again. He made 33 saves on 37 shots but was also playing with a big lead early. The Oilers controlled Game One and I see them dominating this game on both ends of the ice. I look for the Oilers to push the pace once again and the Kings just don’t have the offense to keep up.
