The Edmonton Oilers will be on the road and take on the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center for game one of the Western Conference finals. Jake Oettinger has a 2.09 GAA and .918 SV% while starting in all 13 playoff games. Stuart Skinner is another story, he has been inconsistent and actually benched for a couple of games this playoffs. If Edmonton had Oettinger their would be no question who the Stanley Cup would be going back to Canada, but they don’t. I can’t trust Skinner not to let up soft goal and I am not sure as good as the Oilers offense is, they can score enough to make up for Skinner. I need Skinner to do something for me to have faith, until then I am on Dallas at home in game one.
