The Kansas City Royals open a three game series with the Oakland Athletics. Both teams are looking to turn things around as Kansas City lost two of three on the road against the Dodgers, while the A's just dropped four straight in Minnesota. Back in May, KC came away with a three game sweep, outsourcing the A’s 19-9. Kansas City will hand the ball to Alec Marsh while Oakland will go with Hogan Harris. Marsh is 5-3 with a 3.63 ERA. Oakland has lost nine in a row. Harris will make his fourth start of the season and has posted a 2.49 ERA. However the A’s have 1-4 over his last five appearances. Kansas City dominated the A’s earlier in the season and with Harris on the mound, I expect the Royals bats to produce. Oaland is 28th in run production and will be able to score enough.
