The Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds play the second game of a three-game series after the Reds took game 1. The Cubs will start lefty Justin Steele while the Reds likely go with a bullpen game after sending Frankie Montas to the Brewers late on Monday night. In nine heading into the break he was outstanding, posting a 1.48 ERA, and a 0.85 WHIP. Overall he has a 3.08 ERA, with a 1.06 WHIP. Steele allowed two runs over 5 1/3 innings Wednesday. The Cubs offense once again didn’t show up. Steelr should keep the Red’s bats quiet. Even the it will be a bullpen game for Cincinnati, you can never have faith in the Cubs scoring a ton of runs.
