The Tide are one of the quickest teams in the nation, while the Gaels rank toward the bottom in adjusted tempo. Alabama has been inconsistent all year. They can win one game and look great and then look like the did in game one of this tournament. They won by nine, but were behind in the later stages of the game. The Tide is a volume shooting offense that looks to gobble up their misses for second chance opportunities. The Gaels lead the nation in rebound rate 57.6%. Alabama is more athletic and as poor as Alabama looked in their win, I was also not impressed with Saint Mary’s. I will take the more athletic team in this one.
