OPENING DAY 3-PACK
(MLB) Red Sox (BOS) vs. Rangers (TEX),
Money Line: -115.00 Red Sox (BOS) (Away)
Result: Win
The Texas Rangers host the Boston Red Sox in a four game set to start the season. Boston looks to make a push for the playoffs by adding Alex Bregman, starting pitchers Garrett Crochet and Walker Buehler, and closer Aroldis Chapman. Crochet will get the start for the Red Sox. He was the only bright spot on a dismal Chicago White Sox team. He went 6-12 with a 3.58 ERA and 209 strikeouts in 32 starts. This spring, he struck out 30 with a 0.57 ERA in 15 2/3 innings. Jacob deGrom and Max Scherzer, now a Toronto Blue Jay, made just 12 combined starts. Joc Pederson was added for his bat but just like last season there are injury concerns. Cory Seager missed Monday's exhibition game with "a little tightness" in his calf. Cody Bradford and Jon Gray are missing from the starting rotation to begin the season. Nathan Eovaldi gets the start, he was 12-8, with a 3.80 ERA last season. Crochet should have a great season now that he has a team that can score runs. He had a great spring and I look for thet to carry over into this start.

Play on Boston. This is a 2% play.
