- Bengals are the better team overall this season, and the Chiefs have only 2 sacks in the last two games, which is not enough to stop Joe Burrow behind the line of scrimmage. Chief's are liable to get blown out if Mahomes re-injures the ankle and that's not out of the realm of possibility with the smothering defense the Bengals perform against Patrick Mahomes time and time again by forcing him to make plays inside the pocket with QB containing edge rushing, while blanketing Travis Kelce with Jessie Bates III to force the other chiefs to make plays.
- The running game is going to be implemented by both teams heavily today, and the edge in that category also belongs to the Bengals who have a 2 man thunder/lightning combination of Joe Mixon and Semaje Perine.
- What give me the most confidence in the Bengals, is that the Cornerback play has gotten grittier and developed a team awagger as a roaming unit in the backfield with tipped balls and opportunistic aggression on passes made to the WRs. All signs point to Cincy to win this one, and with injuries plaguing the chiefs offenses before this game (Mahomes, Mecole Hardman and Kelce) I'll gladly take the points with Joe Burrow in what should be a tight affair unless Cincy destroys them.
Official Play: Bengals +2
Side Bet: Joe Mixon Anytime TD
Side Bet: Pacheco Anytime TD
